Here's the 7 step checklist for your "Fast Start to Readers Theater All Year™." 

  1. Sign up and confirm your email account. /////////////// WARNING:  school systems spam filters sometimes eat your communication from us.  You may want to use your home email.  I promise, I won't share it!
  2. Open another tab or window on your computer and go to your email account.  You will need to confirm your request right away from step one (above).  Find the email the auto-responder sent to you from  Readers Theater All Year™ and click on the confirmation link. 

Free Readers Theater Scripts

  1. There are two ways to access free Readers Theater scripts at Readers Theater All Year:

    • Click on Free Scripts on our home page
    The home page link takes you to a list of categories of scripts. Choose your category and scripts on that topic will appear.

    • Click on the magenta banner in the upper right of every page that says "Find scripts" for filtering by topic or grade level in our Script Library. Our Script Library allows you to filter scripts by grade levels (K-2, 3-5, 6-9) AND topic. Just click the boxes in front of the topics or grade levels and explore! Script titles will appear. Click on the script title that interests you.
    *** WARNING: You MUST check the box in front of the words "Free Scripts" to see only free scripts. We have hundreds of scripts in our Script Buffet for paying members–including free Readers Theater scripts, but ONLY Script Buffet Club members may access the full library of Readers Theater scripts.
  2. A new page will pop up sharing a brief excerpt of the script and a download link. Click on the PDF link and you will be able to download the entire script and print it for non-commercial use.

Readers Theater Scripts

  1. If you want the limited lunchbox of free Readers Theater scripts, follow steps #3 and #4 (above). All scripts come with annotated curriculum links for easy lesson plans. We have over 60 free scripts–mostly for holidays.
  2. Join the Script Buffet Club for an all-you-can-eat 24/7 buffet of trustworthy Readers Theater scripts for paying members. Click the "Join Now" link at the top of this page (above the eagle). The system will work the same as for free scripts. However, you MUST be logged in as a paying member to access the hundreds of Readers Theater scripts in our growing Script Library.
  3. Once you are logged in as a paying Script Buffet Club member click on the magenta banner in the upper right of every page that says "Find scripts." You will be able to filter by grade level and topic in our full Script Library.
    *** WARNING: You MUST check the box in front of the words "Script Buffet" to have access to all of the Readers Theater scripts in the Script Library.
